It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Peter O'Connor in Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael P. O'Connor and Evelyn A. Huether; his daughter Laurie A. O'Connor; and his siblings, Michael O'Connor and Barbara Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvie Chartrand; his brother David O'Connor (Sarah O'Connor) of Washington, DC; his son Jeff O'Connor of Columbus Ohio; his grandchild Chase (Johnna); his great grandchild Hudson John O'Connor of Savannah; and his granddaughter McKenzie O'Connor of Charleston.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pinehurst.
