He was predeceased by : his parents, Ada MaCaskill Smith and Ernest Smith; and his siblings, Jeanette Smith Childress and Ernest Ray Smith. He is survived by : his wife Pauline Williams (Polly); and his brother-in-law Dr. Richard Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
