She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tyson and Virginia Coggins Tyson; and the father of her children Rives Kelly. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Kelly (Marie) of Eden, Keith Kelly (Angie) of Carthage and Brad Kelly (Rachelle) of Mint Hill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cross Hill Cemetery (8300 NC-24, Carthage, NC 28327).
