She was predeceased by : her husband William A. McDonald; and her brothers, James S. Assad and Daniel W. Assad. She is survived by : her sons, William Michael McDonald (Sharon) of Raleigh, NC. and Anthony Deane McDonald of Southern Pines, NC.; and her grandchildren, Michael McDonald (Maria), Shea Cunningham (Sean), Nicholas McDonald (Sunnie) and Anthony McDonald (Rosa). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
