The passing of Rosemary S. Pettis of Pinehurst, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marco Scalzo and Norah Scalzo. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Pettis (Susan) of Pinehurst, NC and Lisa Lavigne (Scott) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Carley, Kyle, Jacob, MeKenzie, Emily and Joseph; and her brother Mark Scalzo (Linda) of Henrietta, NY. She is also survived by nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mark's Church (54 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
