It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Braisted (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Augustus Jones; her sisters, Betty and Hazel; and her husband Staryl Clayton Braisted. She is survived by : her children, Paul Evan Braisted (Sharon) of San Jose, CA and Dawn Braisted York (Steve) of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan Braisted, Mark Braisted of San Jose, CA, Kara Newcombe (Andrew) of Durham, NC and Heidi York of Durham, NC; and her siblings-in-law, William Braisted (Joyceann) of Clearwater, FL and Sylvia Braisted of Farmington Hills, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
