He was predeceased by : his parents, Max Ludwig (Boge) and Marguerite Farrell Boeger; and his brother Peter. He is survived by : his wife Joan Petersen Kerrigan Boeger; his children, Lynda Boeger Williams (Karl), William M. Boeger Jr. (Sheila), Dan Boeger (Kathleen), Russell Max Boeger (Teri) and Thomas Martin Boeger; his grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Nicole and Christian; his great grandchild Justin; and his former life partner Mary Abruzzese Boeger of Ansonia, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association are suggested.
