She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar Ellis Sr. and Annie Smith Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Dancy; her daughter Victoria Dancy; and her siblings, David Lee Ellis of Rocky Mount, NC, Jeanette Sanders of Garner, NC, Matilda Suitt of Rocky Mount, NC and Joyce Ellis of New York, NY. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
