He was predeceased by : his parents, William Norfleet and Ella Bea Jenkins. He is survived by : his son Mathis Lee Jenkins; and his siblings, James Lancaster, Jr. of Queens, NY, Greg Norfleet of High Point, NC, Regina Johnson of Rocky Mount, NC, Minnie B. Brown of Bethel, NC, Estelle Johnson of Durham, NC and Darlene N. McClain of High Point, NC. He is also survived by two grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (502 E Hamlet St, Pinetops, NC 27864).
