He is survived by: his children, Robert Bridgers of Richmond, VA, Thomas Bridgers of Richmond, VA, Ruby Whitehead of Wilson, NC, Lafonda Christian of Richmond, VA and Maenora Bynum of Brooklyn, NY; and his sisters, Angela Barnes of Tarboro, NC and Brenda Bridgers of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, with a host of loving relatives and friends.
