She is survived by: her children, Melvin Thorne Jr. of Pinetops, NC, James Thorne of Pinetops, NC, Glen Thorne of Pinetops, NC, Delois Mayfield Winstead of Pinetops, NC and Gloria Thorne Williams of Pinetops, NC. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
