He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Monroe Everett and Vida Jones Everett; and his wife Sandra Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Ken Everett (Tammy) of Pinetown, Craig Everett of Pinetown, Philip Jackson (Beth) of Gary, WV and Lynn Cayton of Aurora; and his sister Lily Carol Everett.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Yeatesville Cemetery (19225 US-264, Pinetown, NC 27865).
