He is survived by: his father Lewis Phipps of Piney Creek, NC; his wife Michelle Cox Phipps; his daughters, Kendra Phipps of Piney Creek, NC and Karley Pendry (Noah) of Boonville, NC; his sister Lynn Mockus (Tim) of Greenville, NC.; and his nieces and nephews, Savannah Mockus, Avery (Carly), Emma and Brennan Cox.
