She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Stroud and Bertie Stroud; and her boyfriend Larry Andrews. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Daniels (Charles) of Deep Run and Bridget Rouse (Greg Arnette) of LaGrange; her sisters, Susan Stroud (Elton Mercer), Shirley Price (Roger) and Peggy Hill (Ted); and her grandchildren, Hailey, Hunter Daniels, Kameron and Ashlyn Pettry.
In lieu of flowers the family asked for donations to be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court Goldsboro, NC 27534.
