We are sad to announce that, on November 14, 2023, at the age of 79, Carolyn Ann Thigpen of Pink Hill, North Carolina, born in Pollocksville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Stafford and Maebelle Stafford; her husband Robert Earl Thigpen; and her siblings, Douglas Stafford, Lily Boyette and Dixie Hay.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca King (Darryl) of Rose Hill; her grandchildren, Evan King of Rose Hill and Meredith King of Rose Hill; her siblings, Frederick Stafford (Rachel) of Midlothian, VA, Franklin Stafford (Hazel) of Portsmouth, VA, Willie Stafford (Jean) of Garner, Mary Stafford of Garner and Rose Kahler of Garner; and her extended family, Jayme, Ashley, Arly and Aerilyn Jones of Beulaville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandy Plain Original Free Will Baptist Church.
