She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "JW" Rouse Sr. and Geraldine Rouse; and her son Dustin Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Joe Johnson; her children, Ben Johnson of Pink Hill and Elizabeth Johnson of Kinston; her grandsons, Elijah Johnson and Carson Johnson of Kinston; her siblings, John William Rouse Jr. (Pam) of Newport and Sandra Turner (Cecil) of Grifton; and her aunt Nina Bett Price of Grifton. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 2 great-nephews; several cousins and many special friends.
