It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Bland Casteen (Pink Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bland Casteen and Maggie Jones Casteen; and his siblings, K. W., Guy Casteen and Hilda Chappell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Casteen; his son Edgar Wayne Casteen; his sister Hester Powell (Jimmy); and his granddaughters, Taylor and Brooke Casteen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to the Building Fund at Christian Chapel Church, 1213 Jonestown Road, Pink Hill, NC, 28572.
