She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Smith and Henry Smith; her husband Dick Lambert; and her siblings, Stanley C. Smith and Velma Dean Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Holly Lambert Griffin (Charles Curtis); her friend Don Creech; her sisters, Sue Smith Rouse and Peggy D. Smith; her son Kevin Lambert (Melissa H. Lambert); her grandchildren, Robin Griffin (Sam Shipp), Jennifer Griffin and Zachary Lambert; and her great grandchildren, Garrett Shipp, Samantha Shipp, Chase Hardison and Brexton Hardison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Chapel Church (1213 Jonestown Rd, Pink Hill, NC 28572). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
