She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Kadence Grace Whaley. She is survived by: her husband Atlas Ferrell Thigpen of Potters Hill; her sons, Atlas Jerome Thigpen of Potters Hill and Michael Steven Thigpen of Potters Hill; and her brother Genes Norris of Beulaville. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hall Cemetery (949 Wagon Ford Rd, Pink Hill, NC 28572).
