He was predeceased by: his father James Donald Heath Sr.; his brothers, Greg Heath and Chris Heath; and his brother-in-law Jeff Newcomb. He is survived by: his wife Pam Heath; his mother Ethel Heath; his daughters, Megan Harris (Tim) and Lauren Roberts (Brian); his grandsons, Alston Roberts, Colton Roberts and Brantley Roberts; his sisters, Melissa Newcomb and Kim Sugg (Doug); his brother-in-law Greg Braswell (Stephanie); and his neighbors, John and Judy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; and his canine companion and best friend.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Deep Run First Baptist Church (3624 Old Hwy 11, Deep Run, NC 28525). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Deep Run Free Will Baptist Church (3624 Old Hwy 11, Deep Run, NC 28525).
