Carson; her children, Gregory Lawson of Ohio, Karen Thompson of Florida, Tyrus Petty of Georgia and Angela Palmer of North Carolina; her godson William Heighter of North Carolina; and her siblings, Bernard Dove of Massachusetts, Joseph Dove of Georgia and Joan Perry of North Carolina. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
