He is survived by: his wife Dammie Blizzard Guy; his brother Joe Guy; his sisters-in-law, Jo Cottle (Glenn) and Rexcine Taylor (Paul); and his nieces and nephews, Cameron Cottle, JoAnne Cottle Whitley, Rex Moore and Lauren Ashley Moore.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (985 NC-11, Pink Hill, NC 28572).
