He was predeceased by : his father James Walter; and his sisters, Ruby Payne and Elsie Bennett. He is survived by : his wife Marie Handy George; his children, Garland George (Julie) and Michelle Blalock (Mark); his grandchildren, Ryan George (April), Grayson George, Maston Blalock and Madison Blalock; his great grandchild Bella George; and his sister Betty Matthews. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
