He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Simmons and Sanford Ray Bryant; his wife Mildred Ruth Bryant; his daughter Kimberly Bryant-Alvear; his grandson Justin "Bubba" Smith; and his brothers, Roger Bryant, Don Bryant and Charles Bryant.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Bryant (Peggy), David Bryant (Suzanne) and Teresa Bryant; his grandchildren, Corey, Karlee Bryant, Rosa Sanchez, Brandon, Brelie Bryant, Santanna Dion (Derek), Bobbi Danielle Zamora, Chase, Bryice, Katie and Macean Alvear; and his siblings, Arthur Bryant (Becky) and Janie Jones. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hills Grove Baptist Church.
