He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Slater and Betty Caudle Slater; his son Michael Slater; and his brother Randy Slater. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Slater; his daughter Michele Mankey (Joe); and his grandchildren, Layton Slater, Matthew Slater, Colton Mankey and Sadie Mankey.
