She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney Venable and Bessie Gordan Venable; and her siblings, Fred Venable and Bonnie Matthews. She is survived by: her husband James Bobby Collins; her children, Brent Collins (Christie) and Kelli Latham (Brian); and her grandchildren, David Latham, Cameron Collins and Benjamin Collins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pinnacle Baptist Church (1054 E Old Phillips Rd, Pinnacle, NC 27043).
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
