She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Corine McCraw Odum and Roy Joseph Odum; and her siblings, Kathy Tate and James Odum. She is survived by: her daughter Misty Wright; her son-in-law Rusty; her son Winky McGee; her daughter-in-law Janice; her grandchildren, Sadie Hudspeth (Chris), Blake Weddle (Maegan), McKenzie Wright (Landon Wright) and Kaylynn Pivaral (Victor); her great grandchildren, Lucas Hudspeth, Caroline Weddle, Maci Weddle and Brianna Baker; and her siblings, Patricia Midkiff, Janet Church (Charles), Diane Woods, Sandy Kopack, Ervin Odum (Frankie), Button Odum and Bobby Odum (Della).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Hills Grove Baptist Church (1318 Pilot Power Dam Rd, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
