He was predeceased by : his parents, George Robert and Bertha Stone Smith; his sons, Bobby and Randy; and his sisters, Shirley and Louise.

He is survived by : his wife Anna Lorene Smith; his daughter Debi (Jim); his sister Eldora; his grandchildren, Alexa, Matt, Heydon, Eli, Sky, Louie, Sean, Dominic, Lori, Chrissy, Dave and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Carson, Poppy, Tyler, Amanda, Dominic, Zach, Keira and Vinny; and his great great grandchild Gus.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion Post 290 (446 S Main St, King, NC 27021).
