He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Benton; his children, Timothy "Caleb" Benton and Haley Benton Young (Logan Young); his grandchildren, Parker Young and Cooper Young; and his siblings, Pamela Benton, Sylvia Beane (Michael Beane) and Denny Benton (Lynn Benton). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
