He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Gray Key and Virginia Mayes Key; his aunt Joyce Mayes Smith; and his uncle Oliver "Dennis" Mayes. He is survived by : his brother Nickey "Nick" Key (Penny) of Gaffney, SC..
