She was predeceased by: her mother Pat Owen. She is survived by: her father Rev. Wayne Owen; her mother-in-law Jane Owen; her siblings, David Owen of Lansing, Michigan and Debra Owen Kuykendall; her stepsisters, Shawna, LaShay and Shannon; and her close friend Nick Townsend of Brevard. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a close circle of friends.
