With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Ball Commarota of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ball and Lois Ball. She is survived by: her husband Robert Commarota; her children, Michael Hensley, Susan Bruce and Joan Shick (Clyde); her stepchildren, Vickie Commarota (Bill Klauss), Christopher Commarota (Pam), Robert Commarota (Alexis) and Anthony Commarota (Danielle); and her sister Barbara Woods. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
