We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024, Carlton Eugene Hooper of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Hooper and Gertie Hoyle Hooper of Tuckasegee, NC.; and his siblings, E. M., Lloyd, Leonard, Melba, Clara and Kenneth.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Slagle Hooper; his sons, Darrick (Jacque) and Danny Ballard; his grandchildren, Zachary, Colton, Tanner, Samantha and Gracie Ballard; his siblings, Ina, Alvin (Ellen), Mildred and Mac (Irene); and his close friend Rita Kemsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
