She is survived by: her children, David Earl of Charlotte, NC, Clarence Wayne of Pittsboro, NC, Belinda Caldwell (Paul), Francine Taylor (Maurice) and Robin of Chapel Hill, NC; her sister-in-law Ella Mae Small of Concord, NC; her adoptive daughter Sherby Jean Speight; and her sister Loretta French. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
