It is with sadness that the passing of Calvin Coarse of Pittsboro, North Carolina is shared. Calvin, born on September 20, 2012 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Calvin will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Calvin by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Calvin is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Calvin’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Tony Coarse. He is survived by: his parents, Megan Coarse and Jason Coarse; his brother Shep Coarse; and his grandparents, Chris Coarse, Tom Boyd and Darlene Boyd. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a charity contribution in Calvin's honor to the UNC Children's Hospital School or purchasing gifts from the UNC Child Life Amazon wish list.
