She was predeceased by : her mother Edith Oakley Hunt; her grandsons, Michael Brown, Jr., Richard Brown and Curtis Tackett; her son-in-law Rex Tackett; her siblings, David Hunt, Mary Dodson, Lois Mauer and Betty Worrell; and her husband Billy.

She is survived by : her daughters, Vickie Ann Hatley Tackett of Temple, GA and Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Hatley (Juan) of Pittsboro; her granddaughters, Crystal Maklary (Billy) of Fayetteville, NC and Teresa Tackett Sisco (Irvin) of Pittsboro; her great grandchildren, Kevin Helbert, Hailey Mclaren, William Waddell, Michael Brown, III, Devin Brown, Tinsley Brown, Lainey Tackett and Irvin Sisco, III; her great great grandchild Dovain Mclaren, Jr.; and her siblings, Bobby Hunt of Fresno, CA, Pearl Hunt Williams of Pittsboro and Mary Jane Hunt of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
