It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Scott (Dottie) Griffin of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rufus Bradshaw Scott and Clara McLaughlin Scott; her husband Sammy Griffin; her grandson Matt Coore; and her sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Merrill Jordan and Geraldine White.
She is survived by : her sons, Ted Griffin (Patsy) of High Point and Randy Griffin (Karen) of Pittsboro; and her grandchildren, Nadine, Sarah, Olivia, Samuel and Heather.
She loved her church and enjoyed studying the Word with her Bible Study Group and conquered the tech world, including using zoom to attend church and fellowship with friends during COVID.
