She was predeceased by: her daughter LaShell Evans; her sister Gwendolyn Evans; and her aunt Jacqueline Evans. She is survived by: her husband Tyrone Penny of Chapel Hill, NC; her son Anthony Hudson, Jr. (Lawanda); her siblings-in-law, Conard Penny (Sonia), Lay Sanders and Gabrielle Harris; and her granddaughter Saniya Williams.
