With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gussie Thompson (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gussie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gussie farewell, their loved ones carry with them the precious gift of their memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Haw River Missionary Baptist Church (1372 Mt Gilead Church Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE STRONGLY URGED!!!
