He was predeceased by: his father Lemuel Styres; and his sister Beth Hefner. He is survived by: his wife Karen Styres; his children, Caitlin (Daniel), Jarod Styres (Chelsea) and Alicia Montgomery (Joe); his grandchildren, Everett, Austin, Luke, Judah and Mason; his mother Lorene Dickinson; his stepmother Barbara Styres; and his siblings, Don Styres (Sheila), Connie Parmer (Matt), Teri Donaldson, Rob Styres (Terri) and Tina Barber (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, Wounded Warrior Project or World Wildlife Fund, all causes near and dear to Joe.
