He is survived by : his son Cordell Rone of Pittsboro, NC; his siblings, Sandra Foxx of Bonlee, NC, Diane McKinney of Pittsboro, NC, Cynthia Taylor of Chapel Hill, NC, James Scurlock (Princetta) of Walkertown, NC and George Scurlock of Siler City, NC; his uncle J. D. Taylor of Pittsboro, NC; his aunt Faye Crump of Yonkers, NY; his nephew Kendrick Edwards; and his niece Tamika Pearson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
