With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Braxton (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Braxton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert W. Hearne and Lillian G. Hearne; her husband Grady Braxton; and her siblings, Arthur Lee Hearne, Louise Womble, Marie Wolfe and Nathanial Hearne.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Shuping (Don) and Michael Braxton (Lisa); her grandson Billy Shuping (Dianna); and her great grandchildren, Grady Jackson and Charleigh Wrenn. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Pittsboro Baptist Church Bereavement Committee, and Amedisys Hospice and Home Health.
