She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Cox and Lois Cox; and her brother Pearson Cox. She is survived by : her husband Jason Earl Norman, Sr. of Pittsboro; her children, Cherie Reece (William) of New Bern, NC, Lisa Sparrow (Rusty) of Surf City, NC, Diane Norman (Mario Villanueva) of Cary, NC and Jason Norman, Jr. (Amber) of Apex; her sister Linda Curry of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, William Sparrow (Kristina), Daniel Sparrow (Hallie), Joshua Bennett, Joseph Blanchet, Jessica Blanchet and Merritt Norman; and her great grandchildren, Maddie Sparrow, McKenna Sparrow, Elliott Sparrow and Jane Sparrow.
