Mildred Doby Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 21, 2026, at the age of 102, Mildred Doby of Pittsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hill and Lillie Hill; her husband Leslie Doby; her children, Ronnie Doby and Gayle Amshay; and her siblings, Edgar, Billie Hill, Mary Ellen Andrews and Patsy Gray.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Brady (Barry); her son-in-law Don Amshay; her grandchildren, Whitney Johnson (Matt), Lindsay Miller (Justin) and Lara Amshay; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Mackenzie, Charlotte Johnson, Kylie and Ava Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittsboro Christian Village's Benevolent Fund at 1825 East Street, Pittsboro NC 27312 or to Mountain Top Youth Camp, PO Box 130, Pleasant Garden NC 27313.
