It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Moleta Freeman of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Waddell and Minnie Waddell; her sisters, Ruth Horton and Mildred Austin; and her son Franklin Kirby (Sarah).
She is survived by : her sons, Rudolph Kirby (Louvenia) and Wayne Freeman (Denise) of Pittsboro, NC; her niece Dr. Stella Horton of New Jersey; and her caregiver Rita Cotton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
