She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Bernard Bard; her children, Stephen Bard, Ruth Bard and Philip Bard; her daughter-in-law Lori Bard; her grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa Bard, Benjamin, Maya and Kate Rampel; her parents, Leah Rebecca "Bessie" (Greenbaum) and Elias "Ted" Tarshis; her sister Edna (G. I. Lester Stein); her children, Robert, Phillip and Marjorie; and her friend Caroline.
When the COVID pandemic started in March 2020 it became hard to maintain social connections but her neighbors started meeting regularly outside (they later named themselves "The Lyndfield Ladies").
