She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Eldridge and Margaret Eldridge. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Baker (Lynn), Daniel Baker (Natalya) and Gail Quarberg (Bradley); her brother Fred Eldridge (Cathleen); and her grandchildren, Matthew Baker, Megan Baker, Michael Baker (Kaitlyn), Nickolas Baker, Nicolas Quarberg (Kristy) and Merideth Quarberg (Rachel).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (300 E Rosemary St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Galloway Ridge of Fearrington Library Fund, the American Guild of Organists, or a charity close to your heart, honoring Phyllis's spirit.
