She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius J. Alston and Nettie M. Alston. She is survived by: her siblings, Lillian Alston (P. E.) and Jerry A. Alston of Pittsboro; her nieces, Gaye Alston, Rhonda Alston, Sky Alston and Destiny Alston of Wake Forest; her nephew Rodney Alston; her cousin James P. Chalmers; and her friends, Carolyn Baker, Phyllis Coleman and Carol James.
