He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. W. Thomas, Jr. and Elizabeth Glosson Thomas; his significant other Louise Greenstock of Moncure; his daughter Laura Thomas Lutterloh (Charles) of Pittsboro; his siblings, Sherry Thomas Knepper (Donald) of Moncure, Eugene Thomas (Barbara) of Magnolia, Judy Thomas Poe (Jerry) of Apex and Jill Thomas Brown (Stephen) of Pittsboro; his grandsons, Mason Thomas Lutterloh and Charles Dylan Lutterloh; his son Jay Stephen Thomas; and the mother of his children Joy Thomas. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made in Stephen's memory to the Northwood High School chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
