Sue Loy Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Sue Loy of Pittsboro, North Carolina. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Sue Loy to show support.

Though Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewis Womble and Elizabeth Poythress Womble; her children, Robyn Walker (Chris) of Pittsboro and Joey Thomas of Pittsboro; and her brothers, Jimmy Womble (Janie) of Chapel Hill and Ray Womble (Sharon) of Chapel Hill.
